Delete your account

1. 01Open Stow and sign in.
2. 02Go to the Profile tab.
3. 03Tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen.
4. 04Optionally tell us why you are leaving, then confirm.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. You will be signed out on every device.

Email bookstow7@gmail.com from the address you registered with, and ask us to delete the account. We use the matching address as the proof it is yours — if you write from a different one we will have to ask you some questions first. We action requests within 30 days, and usually within a few days.

• Your account. Name, email address and password hash.
• Your whole library. Every book on every shelf, with its ratings, start dates and finish dates.
• Your reading progress. Every page number you logged.

None of it is archived, and none of it is recoverable afterwards.

A deletion receipt survives: the email address of the closed account, the reason you gave if you gave one, the date you joined and the date you left. It carries no name, no library and no password hash. We keep it to recognise a returning signup and to learn why people leave — and if you would rather we did not, say so in an email to bookstow7@gmail.com and we will erase that too.

Any feedback you sent through the app is kept as a snapshot of the message and the address it came from, so support conversations stay readable. Server logs holding request metadata age out on their normal schedule.
